About My Trip to Tromsø and My Tromsø Itinerary
Trip Dates: March 25, 2018 through March 31, 2018
About My Trip to Tromsø
I discovered Tromsø when reading one of my travel magazines. It appeared as one of the top 10 Arctic destinations in the world. When I realized that there was almost a sure chance of seeing the Northern Lights, I realized this is a place I had to visit.
Despite being a Global Studies teacher, Tromsø was a place that I had never heard of. I wasn’t even sure how difficult it would be to get to a destination this far north. Thankfully, I quickly realized that Tromsø is a relatively major Norwegian city and that it is quite accessible.
Part of the fun for me is in the planning, as I love to learn about new destinations. After purchasing a book, and spending hours researching on the Internet, I made a list of the “must do” things in Tromsø. Dealing with limited time, and a tight budget, I wouldn’t be able to sample everything that Tromø had to offer during this trip.
I Quickly Identified the Following as My "Must See" when in Tromsø
