Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa - Split

About My Stay Radisson Blu Resort and Spa, Split

The Radisson Blu Resort and Spa, Split might be my best experience at a hotel. When I arrived, I was already excited about my room which was a king room with an Adriatic Sea view. Especially since the cost for that room (which I viewed as a premium room) was only 85 Euros per night.

When I checked in, the receptionist told me that they had upgraded me for free to a suite with a view. She said to me that it would have a better view than the room I booked because it was on the top floor (level 6).

I would highly recommend the Radisson Blu Split Hotel and Spa.  Of course, I did experience their level of rooms due to my upgrade.  Had I not been upgraded, I am sure I still would have enjoyed my standard room with a view.  This hotel had delicious food and excellent service.

Some amenities that I did not use included a vast selection of spa treatments, multiple swimming pools, saunas, and hot tubs.  During the summer season, the hotel also has access to an  Adriatic Sea beach.

Radisson Blu Resort and Spa, Split - The View

When I entered my room, I looked out on the balcony, which was huge, and saw the most beautiful sunset over the Adriatic Sea.  The balcony view would be just as amazing in the morning as well.

Radisson Blu Resort and Spa, Split - The Room

The room itself was larger than my apartment.  It had a living room, with a sectional couch, two giant TVs, four sinks, a king bed, a roman style bathtub, a rainfall shower, two closets, the huge balcony, and a separate bathroom with the toilet.  The only downside was that the room was so lovely I spent a little more time in it than I usually would have.

Dining at Radisson Blu Resort and Spa, Split - The Caper Grill

I ate at two different restaurants at the Radisson Blu Split.  The first night I had a steak with cheese stuffed peppers at the Capers Bar and Grill.  After my dinner, the waiter recommended a Croatian dessert that was their version of Creme Brulee.  It was interesting but very good.

Dining at the Radisson Blu Resort and Spa, Split - Fig Leaf Breakfast and Croatian Buffet

The next night I had the traditional Croatian Buffet at the Fig Leaf Restaurant.  Some of my favorite items included the stuffed pasta shells, Mediterranean turkey, and the stuffed lamb rolls.

Each morning the Fig Leaf Restaurant had breakfast.  The breakfast featured traditional Croatian foods as well as an American Style Breakfast.  I stuck to mostly eggs, sausage, and bacon with a few Croatian Pastries.

There were four different Croatian cakes for dessert.  The chocolate one was my favorite.
