Cools Rooms Hotel Zagreb Airport

About Cool Rooms Hotel Zagreb Airport

After arriving in Zagreb in the early afternoon, I wanted a place to sleep until my 9:00 pm flight to Dubrovnik.  Zagreb Airport does not have any hotels in the actual terminal.  The closest option was Cool Rooms Hotel Zagreb Airport which had an early check-in time of 1:00 pm.  The early check-in allowed me to get some sleep before returning to the airport for my short flight to Dubrovnik.

One note is that this hotel only accepts cash payments.  I paid in the local currency, but they also accept Euros.

Getting to Cool Rooms Hotel Zagreb Airport

There is a shuttle that takes passengers from Zagreb Airport to the hotel.  The cost of the shuttle is €3 each way and is to reimburse the driver for the entry fee to Zagreb Airport.

To catch the shuttle, I called the front desk when I collected my bag.  The phone number was long +385995252270, but when I entered it into my phone, it connected right to the hotel.  They told me that the shuttle would pick me up in 10 minutes in front of Caffe Nero.  The shuttle arrived within the stated time, and within 15 minutes I was at the hotel opening the door to my room.

Cool Rooms Zagreb Airport - The Room

The rooms at Cool Rooms Hotel were precisely what I needed.  A place to sleep with a nice warm shower with excellent water pressure.  I had to be back at the airport for my next flight about 6 hours after my arrival, so I quickly went to sleep.  After a nice nap, I got up and showered and went back down to the front desk.  The shuttle took me back to the airport for my 9:20 pm flight to Dubrovnik.

I would highly recommend this hotel for travelers who are looking for a place to sleep before a flight.  Due to the small size of the rooms, I would not recommend this hotel for travelers who are planning to stay for more than one night.
