About My Trip to Brazil

My quick trip to Brazil was an action-packed adventure! Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side was incredible. Having a guide by my side made everything a breeze – they helped me navigate the crowds, skip lines, and even translate things when needed. The best part? Getting right up close to Devil’s Throat for an unforgettable view! The Brazilian side’s panoramic vistas were amazing too.

After the falls, I embarked on a journey to Parque das Aves, a bird sanctuary near Foz do Iguaçu. Wow! This place was like stepping into a real-life rainforest. Everywhere I looked, there were Scarlet Ibis, African Flamingos, Red-fan Parrots, and so many other birds. The park’s dedication to bird conservation was truly inspiring.

Brazil packed a ton of adventure into a short amount of time, and I left with memories that will last a lifetime!

Foz do Iguaçu

Iguacu Falls on the Brazilian side was a whole different experience from Argentina, and having a guide made it so much smoother! The panoramic views were incredible, and thanks to my guide, I got right up close to Devil’s Throat without getting lost in the crowds. They even helped me navigate the language barrier and skip some of those long lines – a lifesaver! Seeing the falls from this new angle with a guide by my side made it an unforgettable experience. Brazil definitely offers a unique perspective on Iguacu Falls!

I visited Parque das Aves, a bird sanctuary near Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, and it was amazing! I learned all about the park’s founder, Anna Croukamp, and her dedication to bird conservation. The park was even more incredible than I expected. There were Scarlet Ibis, African Flamingos, Red-fan Parrots, Blue-headed Parrots, Plush-crested Jays, and Toucans everywhere I looked! It was like stepping into a real-life rainforest.

Walking the paths that led to different bird habitats was like a journey around the world. The park was open every day from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and admission was only R$80.00 (which is about $15). They even had a butterfly house and special owl habitats!
