About My Trip to Sweden

My trip to Stockholm, Sweden was full of adventure! I flew in comfort and style on SAS Business Class, enjoying all the perks from Chicago O’Hare. Once in Stockholm, I hit the ground running, exploring the city on foot. Gamla Stan, the charming Old Town, stole my heart with its cobblestone streets and unique shops where I even found a few souvenirs.

While I didn’t have a chance to tour the Royal Palace, I admired its architecture from outside. The nearby Parliament Building and the serene beauty of Kungsträdgården park rounded out my historic tour. My walk continued to Strandvägen Street with its breathtaking waterfront view, and finally, I reached the Vasa Museum.

The story of the Vasa warship and its remarkably preserved wreckage was truly fascinating.

Although Drottningholm Palace, the Swedish Royal residence, was closed, I enjoyed seeing it from the outside and taking a scenic bus ride out of the city center. It was the perfect way to end a memorable trip to a beautiful city.

Stockholm

I flew SAS Business Class from Chicago O’Hare to Stockholm. It was a great experience!

I enjoyed all the perks of flying business class, including priority boarding, access to the SAS Lounge, amenity kits, and comfortable seats.

The food on board was delicious, and the entertainment system kept me entertained throughout the flight. The lavatory was also very clean and spacious.

Overall, I had a great experience flying SAS Business Class. While it is typically expensive, I was able to score a great deal on the upgrade and felt the extra comfort was worth it.

I spent a day walking around Stockholm, Sweden. It was a great way to see the city at my own pace and get some exercise.

I started my walk at Stockholm Central Station. From there, I made my way to Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s Old Town. It’s a charming place with cobblestone streets and interesting shops. I even picked up a few souvenirs there!

After Gamla Stan, I walked to the Royal Palace. I didn’t have time for a tour of the inside, but I enjoyed seeing the exterior architecture. Next, I continued on to the Parliament Building. From there, I walked through Kungsträdgården, a beautiful park. It was a great place to relax and take in the scenery.

I eventually made my way to Strandvägen Street, which has a great view of the water. Finally, I ended my walk at the Vasa Museum.

Overall, I had a great time walking around Stockholm. It’s a beautiful city with a lot to see and offer.

I visited the Vasa Museum in Stockholm, Sweden. The Vasa Museum is known for displaying the wreckage of the Vasa, a Swedish warship that sank on its maiden voyage in 1628. The ship sank due to its weight and instability.

Vasa remained underwater for over 333 years before it was salvaged. The Vasa Museum offers visitors a chance to learn about the history of the ship and see the well-preserved wreckage. I found the museum to be very interesting and definitely worth visiting

I went to Drottningholm Palace, the permanent home of the Swedish Royal Family since 1981. It was closed the day I went, like the Nordic Museum. I was still able to take pictures of the outside and walk around the water’s edge.

Even though I couldn’t go inside, I enjoyed seeing the palace from the outside. There wasn’t much else around the palace besides the palace itself, but the bus ride was fun. This was the only time I was outside of Stockholm City Center on my trip.
