My trip to Hungary was absolutely unforgettable! I started in Budapest, where I stumbled upon the St. Gerard Statue on a hilltop. The view from there was breathtaking, and I spent the rest of the day exploring the city’s charming streets and historic landmarks.

I took a self-guided bridge walking tour along the Danube, admiring the stunning views of Buda Castle and St. Gellért Hill. The Chain Bridge, with its iconic lion statues, was a highlight. I also took a Danube River cruise, which offered a unique perspective of the city’s landmarks and a chance to learn about its history.

I also had the chance to explore Pécs, where I was captivated by the unique blend of architectural styles. The city is home to stunning Islamic, Jewish, and Christian influences, which you can see in buildings like the Pécs Synagogue and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. I spent the day wandering through the cobblestone streets, admiring the colorful buildings and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. 

From Pécs, I took a day trip to Mohács, a charming town with a rich history and a beautiful riverside location. I wandered through the streets, visited the Heroes’ Memorial, and enjoyed a leisurely walk along the Danube River.

Overall, my trip to Hungary was a fantastic adventure filled with stunning scenery, rich history, and charming towns. I can’t wait to return!

I was exploring Budapest and stumbled upon a hilltop statue. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was the St. Gerard Statue, honoring a 11th-century bishop with a dramatic story. I decided to climb the hill for a better view of the city. The view was incredible! I spent the rest of the day exploring the city.

I decided to explore Budapest on my own and embarked on a bridge walking tour. Starting at Erzsébet Bridge, I followed the Danube, taking in the stunning views of Buda Castle and St. Gellért Hill. The Chain Bridge, with its iconic lion statues, was a highlight. I crossed it to explore Buda before returning to Pest. Along the way, I paused to admire the architecture, read historical plaques, and soak up the city’s atmosphere. It was a fantastic way to experience Budapest’s unique blend of history and beauty.

I recently took a Danube River cruise in Budapest. It was a great way to see the city from a different perspective. I booked my tour online and chose a cruise that was a good value for the price. I had the chance to explore the charming city of Pécs on a recent trip to Hungary. As soon as I arrived, I was captivated by the unique blend of architectural styles.
