This page features my Taiwan Itinerary with links to the places that I visited. My Taiwan trip is a bonus trip that was booked as a connection to Japan. I have always wanted to go to Japan, but airfare from Minneapolis or Chicago to Tokyo was always over $1000. I was able to secure a great deal on airfare to Taipei from Minneapolis. Heading to Taiwan first allowed me to purchase a much cheaper flight from Taipei to Tokyo and allowed a chance to spend a few days in Taiwan.
